Obligation to Comply with the Code of Ethics

  • 1. We shall comply with relevant laws and regulations wherever we operate our projects around the world.
  • 2. We shall maintain dignity as executives and employee and strive to maintain our corporate reputation.
  • 3. We shall be honest, fair, and trustworthy in all business performance and trade relationships.
  • 4. We shall not engage in actions that conflict with the interests of the Company and individuals.
  • 5. We shall not discriminate against executives, employees, and stakeholders on the grounds of race, nationality, gender, disability, religion, etc.
    and shall respect individual dignity and diversity.
  • 6. We shall strive to create a safe workplace and protect the environment.
  • 7. Executives and employees shall do their best to establish an ethical culture by taking responsibility for and practicing ethical behaviors.

Punishment for Violation of the Code ofEthics

Executives and employees who violate the Code of Ethics may be subject to punishment, including dismissal, in accordance with relevant regulations.
In particular, we apply zero tolerance to bribery, embezzlement, information manipulation, and violation of sexual ethics.

Punishable Behaviors

  • 1. If you violate the Code of Ethics or ask others to violate the Code of Ethics
  • 2. If you do not immediately report known or suspected violations of the Code of Ethics
  • 3. If you do not cooperate with the investigation of the Human Resources Office into cases that may violate the Code of Ethics
  • 4. If you do retaliation against another employee who reported an ethical management issue

Roles and Responsibilities of Executives and Employees

Executives and employees shall understand and practice all contents of the Code of Ethics,
and comply with domestic and overseas laws and regulations related to anti-corruptionas members of a global company.

Understanding and Complying with the Code of Ethics

  • · You shall be familiar with all the contents of the Code of Ethics and faithfully comply with it.
  • · In situations where there is a risk of violating the Code of Ethics, your decision shall be made after consulting with the department head or Human Resources Office.
  • · If you commit an unethical act, you shall take the corresponding responsibility.

Reporting and Consultation for Unethical Behaviors

  • · If you become aware that your own or another person's action is in violation of the Code of Ethics, you shall immediately report it to or consult it with the department head or Human Resources Office.
  • · You shall be aware of various ways to report or consult about violations of the Code of Ethics.

Roles and Responsibilities of Leaders

Leaders shall play a central role in enhancing the Company's competitiveness by preventing and
eradicating unethical behaviors through compliance with the Code of Ethics.
Leaders shall also carry out the following matters to prevent unethical behaviors by their subordinates and respond to them when they occur.

Decision-making

  • · If there is a conflict between the Company's interests and ethics, leaders shall make decisions that prioritize ethics.

Management Responsibility

  • · Leaders shall take unlimited responsibility when any unethical act occurs, and shall also take management responsibility when any unethical act occurs by their subordinates.

Performance of Business

  • · Leaders shall strictly comply with the laws and regulations, shall not pursue private interests, shall do their best to create corporate value for the Company,
    and shall not deal with corrupt stakeholders.

Exclusion of Solicitation

  • · Leaders shall eradicate all solicitations and exclude the exercise of influence in business in connection with outsiders.

Respect for Humanity

  • · Leaders shall strive to eradicate actions that undermine human respect, such as sexual harassment and verbal abuse within the organization.

Prevention of Conflicts of Interest

  • · Leaders shall strive to prevent conflicts of interest with private stakeholders working forbusiness partners and to eradicate unfair trades
    that provide preferential treatment due to private interests.

Practical Activities

  • · By fulfilling the above roles and responsibilities, leaders shall play the role of raising the level of ethical practice to the highest level in the world.

Ethics Training and Counseling

  • · Leaders shall provide ethics training and counseling to their subordinates.
  • · Leaders shall make their subordinates understand the importance of compliance with the Code of Ethics and practicing ethics.

Taking Measures to Prevent Unethical Behaviors

  • · If there is a habitual unethical behavior, leaders shall discover the cause, improve the process, and carry out fundamental preventive activities.
  • · If his or her subordinate is reported to have violated the Code of Ethics, the relevant leader shall immediately report it to or consult it with the Human Resources Office.
